Territory Sales Representative

WORKSITE: Defined Territory: Western Connecticut, Western Massachusetts and Vermont

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our sales team.  The territory encompasses Western Connecticut, Western Massachusetts and Vermont. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within the designated geographic area. Your role will involve prospecting and acquiring new customers, maintaining existing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. You will be responsible for conducting sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has Kitchen & Bath industry sales experience, is self-motivated, has a strong entrepreneurial spirit, possesses excellent communication and relationship-building skills and is a team player.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

·Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to effectively penetrate the assigned territory, identify sales opportunities, and achieve sales targets.

·Prospect and acquire new customers through proactive sales activities, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.

·Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their business needs, and providing solutions to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.

·Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, effectively communicating the value proposition and addressing customer inquiries.

·Collaborate with internal teams and our manufacturers to provide market feedback, identify new product opportunities, and ensure seamless customer experiences.

·Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.

·Communicate with Prime KBG Sales Coordinator to maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer information, sales activities, and sales pipeline for CRM system.

·Attend industry events, trade shows, training classes, sales meetings, and conferences to represent the company, build networks, and generate leads.

·Keep abreast of industry trends, product knowledge, and best sales practices through ongoing training and professional development.

·Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

·Experience in the Kitchen & Bath Industry preferred.

·Proven experience in sales, preferably in a territory or field sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively present ideas and solutions.

·Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.

·Results-oriented with a self-motivated and entrepreneurial approach to sales.

·Ability to work independently and autonomously, managing priorities and territory effectively.

·Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive), and sales-related software.

·Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and market trends to drive sales strategies.

·Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

·Flexibility to travel within the assigned territory and attend industry events as needed.
